Well, this year has flown by! I can hardley believe that Emma just finished Kindergarten. She has learned so much this year! We are so thankful for her teacher Mrs. Wisely and Meehan School. They did not have a graduation, but their last day was "Kindergarten Fun Day", see Emma & Mrs. Wisely with the hula hoops! FUN indeed!
But, now it's summer...Emma will be sleeping in, taking piano lessons, Cheer Camp, Harvest Kids Camp, CYT Camp and enjoying the sun with Lucy & friends new and old and we have a 100 freeze pop goal! Ahhh, reminds me of the good old days!

Julia & Nicole's Graduation
We spent the weekend in Clarinda, Iowa celebrating the twin's high school graduation! It was fun to see the family and catch up. The girls both received academic honors. Reflecting on the twins, it was quite surreal for me to see them graduting...I still remember them as flower girls in our wedding (12 years ago!) Anyway, this isn't about me...congratulations Julia & Nicole! We will be praying for you as you start college. And a special thank you to Aunt Jane who put together the cutest graduation survival kits for Emma & Lucy. So thoughtful. We are blessed!
This is Nicole. This is Julia.

Aladdin with the Freund's
For Reese's 6th birthday we got her tickets to the Rockford CYT production of Aladdin. We had a wonderful time spending the day with the Freund family (minus Merrick). The show was great, we had trouble finding the theater (and Culvers too, but that's another story), but we arrived in time to catch the end of the first scene, which was an Indian infused version of Beyonce's Single Ladies. Can't get that song out of my head ever since...such a catchy little tune!

Lucy's Last Day of Preschool
Lucy loved her first year of preschool at Creative Learners! Mrs. Palmer & Mrs. Anderson are the most wonderful prechool teachers. They always come down to the children's level and they are so calm & patient...sometimes as a mom it's hard to always keep your cool, so I recognize and appreciate these qualities in them that much more. Lucy will be going to Immanuel Luthern school right across the street from us for preschool next year. We are praying that she enjoys it there as much as she did at CLII.

Good Thing She's So Cute!
Training a puppy is not easy! I think Mylie, has a bladder the size of a kidney bean. She does great in her kennel at night and when we are gone. She whines to go out around 4am, she does her business and goes right back to bed. But when we are home, I find little accidents around the house and it's enough to send me over the edge! Please pray for my patience in dealing with this furry one.
