Soooo, I've been on a cleaning/organizing kick lately and I realized that one of my major road blocks to complete organizational harmony (is that even possible?!) is that I do not have a centralized place for craft supplies. I have craft supplies in every room of the house...stuffed here and there with no rhyme or reason. Anyway, completely unrelated, I have been wanting a round kitchen table like forever and Sean's parents just gave us their old table (which looks amazing in kitchen!) and when we carried our old table down to the basement, a brilliant idea came to us. A craft area in the basement! I LOOOOVE IT! It will be even more fabulous when we finish our basement someday. But, for now we fixed up an area
ghetto style with odds & ends (an old entertainment center, Sean's childhood dresser, and baskets I had lying around) and stapled old bed sheets to the beams to block off our
junk storage area. I came across so many fun crafts for the girls to do. The first thing they did was 2 Christmas tree crafts...Emma made a tissue paper tree and Lucy made a popsicle stick ornament (you can sorta see them on the table). Extra special credit goes out to my hubby who helped make this happen! I feel so inspired to finish projects and maybe even work on my scrapbooks! (side note....there are bins & bins & bins full of scrapbook stuff, bow-making stuff and fabric easliy accesible from behind the curtain)
